Description:
1981 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado
Selling a 1981 Chevrolet Silverado C-10. Truck runs and drives good. It has a carb'd small block 350 with a Turbo 350 transmission. It gets down the road pretty good. The heat and AC work, but the AC is not ice cold. It's chilly, but not ice cold. If you know these C-10 trucks you'll notice it has a 1985 to 1987 C-10 grille in it and a custom front bumper. This is not because it was in a wreck or anything of that nature. It was to update the look of the truck. Truck sits on a 4/6 McGaugheys drop, including springs spindles and flip kit in the rear with new drop shocks. It has new 20in US Rambler staggered wheels 20x8 front 20x9.5 rear. Tires are in great shape. Truck is completely rust free on top and underneath and is super solid. The paint on the truck is about 5 years old and looks great. Its not a $10,000 paint job, but its not a Maaco job either. It has a small amount of trash and little imperfections that's hardly noticeable until your waxing it and up close. The truck's main blemish is on the roof (see Pictures). The bed's in great shape and has a spray in bed liner. Interior of truck has no rips or tears and the radio works. The worst looking part of the interior is the horn button missing. They are plentiful on Ebay and cheap too. It just never bothered me enough to get one. The dash has good looking plastic cap on it. I'm not quite sure what's underneath it because it is glued on. The dash cap looks great though. The exhaust is new has a few hundred miles on it. But when the headers were purchased they were an off brand header and the driver side has an exhaust leak or tick if you will. The C-10 runs and drives good I've driven it to a few local car shows and here and there, but I've never had it a long trip or on the highway at 80MPH for a long period of time. Truck has just been a toy for me. I've purchased my dream car and I'm letting the C-10 go in order to put money towards it. Thanks for looking $8500 is the reserve, and the first bid could buy the truck. My name is Will and my number is 912-412-0529. If you are interested or have any further questions, please don't hesitate to call me. I'll be more than happy to talk to you about the truck. This is a vehicle you can jump in and enjoy while you decide what you want to fix or tinker with on it. Now here is all the jargon. Truck is sold as-is, where is, and has no warranty given or implied. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges on the truck, although I will meet up with your shipper and make sure it gets on the trailer safe and sound. Truck is for sale locally too, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.Vehicle Details:
