1986 Chevrolet Blazer Silverado

Here's your chance to own a piece of blue collar American history. Great lengths have been taken to keep this blazer in the classic condition it is in. This is one of the few blazers left that have not been neglected or modified. I will regret letting this one go and doubt to find one like it again in this price range. If you have been looking for a well preserved, original looking K5 blazer, this is the epitome of one. This vehicle is ready to cruise and drive and needs nothing to take you anywhere at any point. All it needs is a new loving owner to take care of the current condition it is in. Here is a descriptive break down of the truck:

1986 Chevrolet K5 4x4 blazer:

Drivetrain:

-350 gm crate motor. Motor not original to vehicle and miles are unknown. Upgraded from 305

-700r4 trans that has been rebuilt and shifts really smooth

-Motor has headers coupled with a newer dualexhaust

-Miles show a tad over 83000 but are unknown with how speedo rolls over. Condition could represent 83000 with how nice it is.

-4x4 works

- Drive truck anywhere, very reliable, doesn't even leak oil or fluid

Exterior:

-Paint is in really good shape, still shines with a wash and repels water. Has had one factory match repaint some years ago that was done with quality. Due to truck being used there are some smalldings and rock chips in the body and some have been touched up by previous caring owner. Paint has chipped off in some areas also but is nothing major and all are less than a quarter in size.

-Canopy top paint is not as good of quality as rest of body

-All exterior emblems and trim are still in place.

-Truck is 99.9% rust free throughout and has been taken care of. Underneath, frame, cab supports, body you name it. .1% is from a very small bubble spot on edge of LR back fender behind the tire. It is not through at all and is as big as my fingernail.

-No major dents and only has two small cracks in corner of tailgate from slamming up overtime. No major issues.

Interior:

-Interior is original and in exceptional shape for its age. Only shows minor wear and tear. Driver seat has quarter size tear in side from sliding out. All other seats and carpet look and function as they should with no tears or stains.

-All buttons, lights, switches, cruise, gauges, you name it works except for radio. It is aftermarket and is simply not plugged up.

-Power windows, locks, back rear sliding glass switch all work.

-Has a dash pad on it that has not fit well over time. Still serves its purpose and looks nice at first glance. Door panels have faded from sun as most do.

Wheels/Tires:

-Has all four original rally's with beauty rings still attached as well as original spare in the back. Has BF Goodrich aggressive all terrains that give it the manly 4x4 look. Still plenty of tread left on tires.

Options:

-This is an optioned out blazer. Most can be seen in the ID card pic, but comes with many luxury options like A/C, heat, power windows and locks, PS, PB, tilt steering, Silverado equipment list goes on and on. AC has been converted to 134 and works well.

If you're a K5 lover, this is the truck for you so don't let it get away. It is not in show truck condition but can still go to shows and attract attention or start conversations. And it is a great investment. The value will only continue to go up as these become harder to find than they already are. Any small improvements to fix the small things on this truck will only increase value as well. This is a great piece for someone.
