1993 40th Anniversary 6 Spd. Manual Transmission C4 Corvette
Grandpa owned. 77k low miles. Good shape. Garage kept for majority of its life. Runs well.
I have read through forums that there were only 200 Black 40th anniversary 6 speeds with the T top made that year. I have done some research to find out the value of this car as it was inherited from previously mentioned grandpa. I already have a nice vehicle and do not need to pay insurance on this, nor do I have the space for it.
Through the research I have found that the estimated value on KBB is anywhere from 7800-11000. I have searched on ebay, craigslist and other sites through the 4 surrounding states and I have come up with the price of $8000. The reason I have discovered this is because KBB does not value the rarity of this car, but although this car is somewhat rare to find, it is not flawless. It is a 25 year old car with very low miles, but with age comes some wear in the product.

If MPG is a concern, corvette owners claim in forums that this year with the 6 spd gets 21 in city and as high as 31 on highway if you don't put the pedal to the metal.
This car is bone stock, with the exception of a tune performed once I inherited the car. The tune included:
Spark plugs and wires
Fuel filter
Throttle body cleaned
New Serpentine belt
Oil changed (it was changed every 3k miles religiously with full synthetic and a new filter)
Tires rotated and balanced
All fluid levels maintained
Air filter replaced and air box cleaned
Premium fuel every fill up and Injection cleaner was used every 10k miles or so.
Car has been hand washed
Cons:
Paint is not perfect (some rock small rock chips and a few light scratches, as well as light fading)
Weather lining trim is a bit cracked, but most that I saw online had the same problem. Once again, this is a 25 year old car so it is not perfect. Car collectors should know, this is the rarest C4 due to the anniversary package, and low production of the listed features.
