1971 Chevy Chevelle Malibu.

I purchased this project recently but I am in the middle of a house flip so I figured I would list it and see what happens. If it doesn’t sell, I’ll get to it when I am done with the house. Here is what I know and was told about the car.

Mechanical:

350 V8 and 350 turbo trans. Was told by previous owner that engine is rebuilt with cam and rebuilt 350 turbo with 3500 stall converter. I have cranked the motor but have not attempted to start. 12 bolt posi rear with 411 gears and disc brakes. Also have a set of new 456 gears to go with it. Adjustable 4 link conversion and new shocks and springs. All new front suspension with Wildwood disc brakes. Tubular control arms. 2” drop spindles. Great stance. New fuel tank, straps, and pre-bent fuel line included. New brake lines installed. New master cylinder and proportioning valve included. Standard shift bell housing, clutch and pressure plate included also. 15” wheels with like new tires.

Body:

Very close to being ready for paint. Has new fenders, new trunk lid and new rear quarters. SS Hood could also be new but does have a little surface rust from sitting around. New floors and 3 piece trunk floor. There is no rust on this car at all that I have found. Bumpers are straight but need rechromed. All glass included but windshield does have a crack. Car was an AC car but Firewall has been smoothed so no heat or AC currently. Vintage Air sells a complete kit for about 1300 which is what I’ll do if I end up keeping it. It is missing the inner fenders. All new body mounts installed.

Interior:

Dash has a crack. Malibu instrument panel. Original radio hole. Glove box works. Seats are out of a 80’s Monte SS and are in great shape and fit well. Needs a headliner and carpet. Looks like all the trim is in a box that came with the car.
