Drove down from Kansas City to Tampa Bay 2017Recently Painted: Original Color
283 2 barrel 2 speed automatic
Original Interior and motor.Replaced generator with high output alternator.New front end parts. Drive straight down the road!
Only issue is pinon load was lost after driving down from KC due to bad carrier bearing.Replaced carrier bearing but still getting deceleration noise.May need newpinonbearing or rebuilt rear end.Runs and drives great other than the small whine when slowing down.
Replaced just about everything including points, wires, coil and brakes. Entire car has been gone through.However, If you plan on driving across country I would have rear end checked out!
