I Purchased this car along with several other out of a private collection in New York. The owners son was handling the dispersal of about 35 cars and he lived in Detroit area, cars were all located in a warehouse in New York. I got the car back to Missouri and just like any other sitting car it needed quite a few items mechanically to make it road worthy but I believe we've got all of that handled for the new buyer. Please realize I'm representing this as a driver quality car with very good paint, new interior, and a great entry level collector car you can cruise in! Car has had a full tune up, steam cleaned the entire car inside and out! As you can see from the pics a new driver floor pan was replaced before the new interior was installed, the rest of the floors were solid, including the trunk, which we also detailed out with the original GM spatter trunk paint! Brakes and emergeny brake cables have been replaced, belts, hoses, blower fan motor and as mentioned new AC compressor, dryer, hoses, and r134a Freon conversion. Also has all new door weather stripping, window felts, and truck seal. The car is very, very original, and fairly unmolested with the exception of headers the drivetrain is 100% stock and in great running condition. Car starts and idles right, runs at 190 degrees and cruises down the highway at 65-75 with ease.
We did verify the Z28 vin, factory 4 speed. This car was originally blue with fawn interior, gold stripes, gold wheels which was 1981 only, and I see why, it was in my opinion a bad combination so I changed it to the more appealing triple blue stripes and black interior. You're more than welcome to have the original seat covers and interior pieces we kept if you so choose.
