Description 1962 Chebby II 400 Nova. 6cyl, 2 spd auto powerglide. VERY original. RUST free. Calif car. Its only original once! Remember this is an original Un-restored 56 year old NOVA. has some dings and scratches. Lots of character. I appreciated the originality Like I said "Its Only original Once". Year of manufacture plate Yellow with black letters.Brakes all redone with very hard to find original drums and parts- added self adjusters to rear brakes (63 was 1st year for these). Re-cored radiator to 3 row Original copper brass. New heater core. Power steering rebuilt. New distributor. Carb rebuilt, new water pump. lots of work done; Rear main seal, oil pan trans valve covers gaskets
All weather stripping replaced with the exception of front and rear windshields. Rear windshield needs seal weatherstrip redone leaks.
I have the original AM radio which shows original order date owners name and car VIN. Installed is a Custom Autosound USA-740 Classic Car Radio With Bluetooth & Speakers system. (dash, kick panels and 2 rears). Interior was all removed and matted (like Dynomat) Rust free pans and trunk. Mostly original paint at some point the NOVA was clear coated most likely to preserve the original paint and blend some touch ups.. Not a very good job. Has original bumpers in very good shape. Headliner is original but has seen better days couple tears that have been sewn up. Wheels are 13" 4 lug. Tires are all new
All lights and signals work, right signal switch is a little temperamental. Horn works. Heat defrost fan just stopped working, probably the relay?
