The car has been collector owned in Ohio for the last 20+ years and always garaged. Body is nice and straight and super tight throughout. Good gaps overall. Doors open and close great! Paint shines up nicely as you can see in pictures but it's older (done in the 1990s) and and not perfect with various imperfections. Previous owner wanted a "sleeper" look, so he installed the big block V8 (bored 0.030 over, with upgraded crank, pistons, camshaft, worked heads, intake, headers and dual exhaust), upgraded transmission and rear end, and put tubs in the rear for meatier wheels/tires for when they may be needed and a fuel cell in the trunk. From the outside it looks all stock, until you turn the key and the BBC starts rumbling.

Interior has been completely redone some years ago, rather tastefully throughout. VERY COMFORTABLE AND BEAUTIFULLY DONE about 15 years ago but has been kept up very nicely. Mechanically it runs/drives pretty good, but has been sitting for a few months. I have recently rebuilt the carburetor, tune-up, fresh battery, Car starts right up, runs beautifully and drives nice and straight with nice shifting transmission and good brakes, but I would go though it before taking it on any long trips just to make sure everything is dialed in. Frame is excellent. Floorboards and trunk pan appear to be in good shape throughout with some previous patch work here and there (fairly solid but they will need some work).

Car presents itself very well but it is NOT perfect by any means and will need some moderate amount of restoration work if you want to take it to the next level. Body is nice and straight as I said, with some bubbles by rear wheel well lips and some crusting by middle or outer rocker panels that will need to be addressed. Lots of little things don't work (horn, wipers, signals, couple gauges, couple lights may need new bulbs, etc.). Carburetor, although previously rebuilt (about 5 years ago) is a little sensitive and will need playing with or a new kit installed as it sputters a bit when car is cold). Has some play in steering box but seems to steer fine and brakes work well (NEW booster/master cylinder setup). Wheels are factory and give it a stock stance due to wheel spacers. Transmission converted to floor shift (original column knob and lever still there if you wanted to put it back to stock). Hood had some stupid scoop on it at one time that was removed and has a few tiny holes from rivets covered by black tape shown in pics. Chrome is presentable, with some pitting here and there and a few rust spots on rear bumper ends. LIKE I SAID, LOTS OF LITTLE THINGS TO ADDRESS IF YOU WANT TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE NEXT LEVEL, BUT A GREAT START.

I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL FENDER SKIRTS, PAINTED TO MATCH!

PLEASE CALL (917) 749-4302 TO DISCUSS IT IN DETAIL OR COME SEE IT IN PERSON.
