1969 Chevrolet Nova SS

Yeah yeah yeah, I know there is no such thing as a COPO Nova but if there was - here is the street beast that GM would have/could have built. Basically, If you have enough money, you can have whatever you want built - and this guy wanted a 1969 COPO Nova with Air Conditioning and as any knowledgeable GM guy would know - there is no such thing. Until now that is. Yes, here is grandma's grocery getter packing a code dated 1969 L72 Big Block that was built by Kevin Blanks and packs a whopping 608 RWH on pump gas. The gentleman I bought this car from (it was restored 10 years ago and had never been on the road) hired a well known GM restorer to build this car for him. We can discuss who that is if you are interested - he did sign the glove box door for me) It sports a one off original GM air conditioning unit with custom made brackets and pulleys. If you look closely at the engine and undercarriage pictures you can see it was built to GM specs from front to back with all the correct factory markings. Danny Nelson did the Muncie M-21 Four speed and a 12 bolt Rear sporting a 3:73 posi is in the back of the car. A full nut and bolt ground up correct restoration was done on the car and she is as new from the factory. You wont find another like it anywhere. I have the original sales invoice for the car, protecto plate, key FOB's and a bunch of other paperwork that came with the car. If you want a car that will keep you pinned in the seat, look no further. No one really knows whats inside - until you see the 427 badges and then realize, your screwed! lol She is fast, a blast to drive and is the ultimate sleeper! Has about 300 miles on her since getting her on the road. As the motor was dynoed and broken in - shes ready to go and guaranteed not to disappoint! Any questions or for a video of the car runniing contact (203) 223-3297. Located in NC and for sale locally. Have all receipts for everything. 30K was spent just for the mechanical work and parts for the driveline, plus the cost of the car etc.etc! Clear title. I do have a brand new set of Torque Thrust wheels that do not come with car unless you ask real nice and we come to an amicable deal! Yes, she does need a serious cleaning, headliner fixed in one small area in back and a good buffing and the trunk cleaned properly but mechanicaly, she is impeccable! Sitting as you know isn't good for any vehicle so the brakes, calipers and wheel cylinders were changed, fluid flushed from everything, A/C compressor rebuilt, Belts changed, and a thorough going through to make sure I could take the grandkifds safely for a ride. Original spare and jack (not that I would want to use a 49 year old spare tire!). One of a kind. Ready to go!
