The current owner has owned this vehicle for over 35 years and did the restoration soon after he got the vehicle. Since the restoration, this vehicle only has about 1,500 miles on it and has always been stored in climate controlled storage. The body is straight and few of any rust... or dents, the chrome trim is free of pitting and the plastic and rubber trim is equally as clean. The 396 cubic inch V8 is original to the car but was rebuilt along with the restoration, it features an upgraded cam, heads and carb. The interior of the car is stunning and looks as nice as it did when it left the factory, the door panels are in excellent condition and the headliner is free of any sagging. The dashboard is crack free and original. This car is equipped with a Cowl Induction hood along with a 4 Speed Muncie shifter. The Chevelle was a mid-size model that was produced over a few generations starting in 1964. The second generation is arguably the most popular and featured a distinctly sculpted "coke bottle" body with tapered fenders and a rear quarter kick up.
