1994 Chevrolet Suburban K2500 Work Truck / SUV

This auction is for a ex-municipal ex-hunting now go-anywhere work truck. It is reliable as they come. Starts every time. Oil changed religiously. This 6.5L diesel gets over 20mpg and has about as much oomph as a plain tbi 350. Torque is immense. Snow banks, bushes, small trees, etc... nothing stops this machine. 800 miles between fills out of the 45gal tank. Net frame ground clearance is a solid 13". The frame is solid, solid, solid everywhere. No weak spots. Suspension is stock, with no torsion crank. The height is all tires. I'm including some 1.5-ton springs (p/n 22-907HD) with bolts and shackles just in case you want to do some heavy lifting with this beast. This will lift and level the back by about 1.5 inches and add 1000lbs to the gross weight capacity. The springs are the spec for the up-armored k2500.

• Turbo: stock GM4 with BD diesel manual control, the boost gauge lives in the glovebox, because gauges are silly.
• Brakes are new in front, ok in rear. ABS is ok.
• Seats are from a '98, the rear seat is the former front seat, held down with a ratchet strap so it comes out in 1 minute. Front seatbelts are as GM designed. Rear buckles are m.i.a.
• Headlights are very special Hella halogens. Don't turn on the brights unless you really mean it.
• Batteries are both new March 2018
• Gears are 3.73, it purrs along 80mph in the passing lane just fine. The tires add 7% to the actual vs. indicated speed.
• Fuel tank is full, that should get you home unless you live in, like, Oregon.
• Heat is incredible. This thing will have you sweating when it's -15F outside. No A/C.
• Engine heater ohms out good, never needed it though, even below zero.
• It used to have a top light. penetrations are sealed.
• Exhaust is 4" turbo-back with a muffler. It's quiet-ish.

This truck has no issues. I've been all up in it and it's OK. I trust it to go anywhere. Do not expect anything other than a well-used work truck. It's far from showroom. The windshield has a crack from the rear view mirror to the dash.
