1977 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Silverado
For sale is my 1977 Chevy Silverado K10 1/2 Ton pickup. Many desirable factory options like factory Tach, 400 small block, AC, tilt wheel, 4 wheel drive, dual gas tanks, cruise control and in rare Marina Blue. It was dealer ordered with a towing package and radio delete. Overall the truck is extremely clean, there is no panel rust and not a single bubble on the entire truck, retains some of it's original factory paint, some has been repainted and does show well. Does have some patina and some wear like rock chips but no major scrapes, dings or issues. Truck is very straight overall but does have a small ding in the hood and on the right side box along the top trim line. All fender edges/wheel openings are perfect. All side trim including wheel well moldings are new. Floors are perfect and I took a picture when I pulled the interior to show that. The bottom side of the cab still retains the red oxide primer from the factory!!! Outside of the truck is rust free, box is rust free, floors are perfect, rockers and cab corners are perfect, but the bottom edges of the front floor mounts do have rust on the bottom leading edge. I've gone over the truck and I can't see that any metal work has ever been done.
This vehicle is in exceptional condition for it's age. Mostly original and unmolested, they are difficult to find in this condition. I purchased the truckfrom a gentlemen who was from Southwest Kansas where it spent it's life on a farm. Vehicle was used sparingly around the farm and not driven much. SW Kansas is an arid climate and that helped preserve the truck. 70's squarebodies are few and far between in the Midwest in this condition. I've done a lot of maintenance and restoring of original parts since I've had the truck. It is mostly in original condition although I did update the interior with new carpet and seat cover. Vehicle was fully serviced including new fluids, battery, fuel pump, fuel lines to passenger tank, plugs and wires, starter and air filter. New seals in the transfer case and the transmission pan. Does have a very slow leak on tranny yet but doesn't affect drivability. But will probably need to be addressed.
New parts include: New interior kit with seat cover and carpet, shifter boot, door pull covers, door panels re-dyed, GM NOS rear bumper that was professionally painted with correct brackets, wheel center caps and lug nuts, battery tray (no rust on core support),battery, all side trim, hood insulator pad. Everything works on the truck. All lights, instruments, 4 wheel drive, AC works but needs converted/recharged. I would drive the truck anywhere and I've enjoyed driving it. Will need a u-joint replaced as it clanks going into drive as they are known to dobut transmission shifts as it should while in gear.
