Up for sale is an excellent survivor 1950 CHEVROLET CHEVY flatbed truck. This truck was originally owned by the U.S. Air Force and was used as a water truck. Later it was obtained and used by a County and saw little use. When I got the truck, it had 40,000 original miles. Inscribed on the drivers side door jamb the 235 6 cylinder had been marked as rebuilt at 29.000 miles. The truck has had extensive work done on it, new glass, rubber seals and gaskets throughout, This is a partial list of all the new items:Gas tank cleaned; sealed PTO; Heater and hoses replaced; interior and exterior repainted; rebuilthydro-vac; installed and rebuilt flatbed, 7 feet by 12 feet with new wood and stake pockets; new rear lights and some wiring; turn signals; floor mats and pedal covers; headliner; new brake shoes; wheel bearings brake cylinders and wheel seals; new axle bearings; 12volt battery and tune up. Recently the speedometer had not worked, the truck has been sitting and a used speedometer will come with the truck. This truck runs and drives like new! It will haul whatever it was rated for! Has 2 speed rear end, I disconnected it but easy to hook back up. (never needed it). Any questions will be answered promptly. This is to be picked up.
