second time around as reserve not met on first try..for got to mention that over 30k was invested in this truly fantastic truck...not built on the usual S10 frame which is weak, this one sits on a full Chevy fram, boxed....so if you wanted to drop a 500+ hp engine in there, just drop and go.But, th ecurrent engine and tranny runs like a top so if your wish is for a great cruiser, then drive as is.....details below and more pics added....ask any questions.....email your trades even, to 2denis@rogers.com. But send details, pics and your offer...no bul*** back and forth.....WOW! Unique and nicely built 1952 Chevy pickup. Built in Florida, rust free components. This truck is one of a kind with the following; Sits on a 1989 Caprice full frame, engine has approximately 50k on it and runs strong. It’s a 5.3 liter LS which Was removed from a 2003 GMC Yukon along with 4L60e automatic transmission. Computer is installed inside the cab and has the ODB port where it should be under the dash. Truck runs strong, shifts perfectly. Suspension is all new, Chevy Caprice with front disk brakes, rear drums which are all new as well. Rear is original 1989 Caprice...not sure of ratio. Truck has aluminum radiator, runs at 180 degrees as it should even with the ac on. New master cylinder. New air conditioning and heating system, not the crappy under dash but a full unit with dual Center vents and driver and passenger side vents. Suspension is bagged with gauges and controls for each wheel in the Center console. Compressor is mounted under bed with auto shut off. Truck can sit a half inch off the ground with full air release and takes a few seconds only to come up to driveable height.Gas tank is 18 gallon and mounted at rear between the frame with the filler neck in the bed. Grille is new, front bumper is new and sits perfectly, chrome front bumper filler, new emblems, door handles, new glass everywhere, tinted except for windshield. All new weatherstripping everywhere. Box is original but was modified to accommodate the Caprice frame so that the spring perches would clear the bed bottom and still allow for some box depth. Basically the truck box was made almost 12 inches higher than original on the sides and pockets were extended to the side splash panels. Can’t even tell other than the box actually sits a few higher than the original. Tailgate is new with hidden latches and hinges and no chains required. Bed floor is solid oa, with 5 coats of marine varnish and with billet gas door flush mounted.Taillights are new 1958 Impala with led all around including backup lights mounted on a roll pan to eliminate rear bumper. Front headlights are led, halo for daytime running lights which turn yellow when signalling along with the original turn signals. All are new and led.Exhaust starts with new headers leading to Flowmaster mufflers and finishing with 2016 Corvette tailpipes out the Center at the rear.The interior....features a Pioneer Avic8201nex deck with 6 speakers and a sub-woofer all concealed. 2 backup cameras, one in the large pioneer deck and one in the rear view mirror. Full GPS, Bluetooth...etc.;Apple Car play as well which is super nice to have. Full hands free for most tasks.The Pioneer is mounted in the Center console along with Center ac vents, ac controls, air ride gauges and control switches.>All new custom gauges with GPS speedometer, volt meter, temperatures ....even the clock is new, custom made and keeps time...lol .Tilt steering with billet steering whee, wrapped in grey. Yes, the horns works as it should to...All new custom headliner with original 1952 Chrome trims, custom leather door panels with new billet door handles and switches for power windows. Dual dome lights and courtesy lights. Leather buckets seats are power driven with lumbar support. New original dash chrome with ashtray. New carpets throughout. New emergency parking brakes with pedal and pull release. Truck sits on Foose rims, 17” in the front and 18” in the rear with Nexen rubber all with proper offset. The rims have minor pitting but mostly at rear most so hardly noticeable..There’s likely stuff I missed but shoot me a message and I will answer...or if you wish any information BEFORE BIDDING.Truck drives straight down the road...properly aligned...I have had it up to 80 mph and runs smooth.>There are NO mechanical issues with this truck, not even a drop of fluid on the garage floor.Absolutely no rust... >Finally the bad.... paint is poor, looks good from 20 feet but not up close. Hood is original but has many flaws and should be replaced when repainted. This truck has enough going for it to warrant a nice quality paint job. Has new electric wiper motor which you can hear run but wipers don’t work. I think the chain drive is off the wiper arm gears. Foose wheels have slight pitting thanks to the Florida salt air as I had the truck outside for about 10 days during the build. Other than the wiper arms not turning, everything works. Engine runs smooth and sounds awesome with exhaust setup when you want to move and be noticed. Oak bed comes off easily ....slides out.....which makes access to the air ride compressor, gas tank and lines an easy task.Truck has a clear Florida title but is in Ottawa, Ontario Canada at the moment as I brought it up with me when I returned from Florida in April. I can drive it to Ogdensburg, New York, zip 13669 and meet your carrier if you wish. If sold to a Canadian buyer, I will export the truck to Canada and provide Ontario ownership document at my expense.Please ask all questions before bidding! Good luck!
