1946 Chevrolet Other Pickups

1946 Chevrolet Chevy TruckNO RESERVE!Here is another gorgeous example of a rust free Kansas truck. This one is a 1946 1.5 ton truck. It was originally used as a farm truck, and then was converted to what you see now, for parades and special events. I'm guessing the bed that is on it now was some type of personnel carrier, but it really looks great on the truck, looks like it belongs there.
The paint job is a parade or farm quality paint job. It looks very presentable, but there are some flaws here and there, but don't let that bother you, this thing looks amazing, and turns heads everywhere you go. I just don't want you to expect a show quality paint job. The grill is truly beautiful and looks like a million dollar smile. I have looked this truck over front to back, and have found ZERO signs of rust.
Mechanically the truck is in good condition. The previous owner spent over $2,000.00 on having the truck converted to 12 volt, servicing, tune-up, adjusting & bleeding breaks, etc. It also has factory working power brakes. He then let it set for a year or so in his shed, so the gas smells old, and the needle in the carb tried to stick on me a couple of times. So there may be a couple of very small things to address, but not many at all.
The bed is solid mounted, not a dump bed, and everything else on this truck appears to be original. All the gauges, all the lights work. Has really cool glass clearance lights on top of cab. Never seen any quite like them - amber forward and red shining backward. All in all, just a great old truck to go have some fun with. I do have a clear Kansas title to this truck, and please check my feedback, I've sold quite a few old trucks without any disappointments. It is o.k. if the truck sits here a while, as long as paid for. My name is Cort, 620-786-5172, texts or call. Thank you, and good luck!
