Selling my Red 57 Chevy BelAir Hardtop (VIN C57A157966) with a 350 backed by a Powerglide 2 speed. Please take a look at the videos as it will likely answer most of your questions. This car is extremely solid mechanically and cosmetically it shows well. It is very smooth and quiet with a mild cam. It is a nice balance of fun and mild cruising.
Updates include a small block 350, Full American Autowire kit with modern fuse box, power steering & new CPP500 steering box, CPP steering linkage kit, New American Racing Torque Trust Wheels with Cooper Cobra tires. CPP tilt steering column, restored OEM 17" steering wheel assembly, new gauge cluster, Autometer electronic sender gauge pack and new Ciadella interior. Please note this is the verified REVISED pitman arm! Resealed Powerglide, power disc front brake kit, Edelbrock 1405 600 CFM carburetor, Edelbrock intake and engine dress up. The head unit is a Custom Autosound USA-1. This car was restored in the 80's in Florida and was transported to upstate NY when the last owners father passed away. I aquired it last year and completed the mechanical restoration last winter. I didn't intend to sell it but I'm planning a move. I've tried to highlight the flaws as clearly as possible in the videos so there should be NO surprises. Many of the remaining defects are covered by the large parts cache is included with the car. HISTORY This is a true BelAir Hardtop - originally a deluxe I6 2 speed Powerglide in Colonial Cream. It is unknown when the current 350 was added, but the transmission and rear end are likely original.
