Selling a 1948 chevy fleetline 2dr aerosedan. The bad: Car is very rusty, the body tub has heavy rot all along the bottom of the car, floors, rockers, trunk floor, rear wheel wells, etc..body tub would need major rebuilding to be saved. Frame also has rot in the rear rails. The good: car is amazingly complete with hard to find stainless trim pieces and parts. One gravel guard and the hood ornament are off the car but are in the car. Has some cool accessories like a GM tissue dispenser, spot light, fog lights, etc. Doors, hood, trunk lid are all savable. Front fenders have rust but are fixable. Lots of good glass. Of course the car is not running, the engine is missing parts and the transmission is missing. The hood is stuck closed and I have not worked on getting it open yet but I can see through the grille that the engine is incomplete. Car has a serial number plate but will be sold with a bill of sale, there is NO TITLE, I had to put something in that spot for ebay. I bought this car to build and put onto a different chassis, I just do not have time to get to it. This would be a major project so consider the car a parts car and if you have the skills to bring it back to life or swap the body tub it could be saved. It will roll easily onto a trailer.
