Complete Frame-off restoration. SS Tribute, not a true SS.
Completed in April 2016, have taken to a few car shows only. 235 are the actual miles since complete. Odometer shows 135 as the gauges were later replaced. My fun is building cars, third one in about five years. Time for the next project.
Top to bottom restoration, every bolt is new. New wiring harness. New electronic gauges. Engine is new crate 350 from chevy dealer, with a new chevy performance accessory serpentine belt package (19369258). Trans is Muncie 4 speed (used), 10 bolt rearend with highway gears (2.73) I have a automatic transmission if buyer prefers to go that route. The car was not hot-rodded after build, built for enjoyment/shows. This will last the next owner without having to do anything for several years. And allows them a clean starting plate if they want to give it some performance upgrades.
The restoration list is long, supported with photos and receipts (that I could find, over $28K). Body panels were replaced where needed, sandblasted and then epoxy coated. Frame was sand blasted and coated before assembly. Have many photos for seriously interested parties.
