1971 SS Nova

This car purchased by my sister in 1977 and has belonged to me since 1985.

In 1985 & 1986 I restored the car including: new rear quarters, upholstery repair, new paint from bottom to top, added SS wheels and a fresh engine. In 1989 I was discontent with a small block and installed 454 and had all of the front end parts including ball joints replaced and big block coil springs installed. After a few run-ins with the local police I parked the car and stored it for 8 years. I brought it back out of storage and installed the current 305 V8. I drove the car in the summer of 1998 and put it back in storage until the spring of 2014. I would say since 1986 the car has probably has been driven around 3000 miles

I have installed brand new tires, and have enjoyed bring the car back to life but I changed my interest and after 40 years of being part of our family it is time to let it go.

The car is a factory SS 4 speed with factory F 41 suspension, power brakes, buckets, SS package (tach, gauges in console), 12 bolt positive track 373 rear end. Muncie 4 speed. Triple black

I have a 350 engine that will be sold with the car. The original engine is long gone.

After bringing it out of storage a hole had developed in the front floor pan in front of the passenger seat, another area that was affected was inside he trunk around the gas tank filler tube. Surface rust has formed around the headlights and front fender lower corners. Paint looks good but has started to peel in places. Headliner has a hole and carpet needs replaced.

The car runs and drives great. Over all it is very solid and fun to drive.
