1967 Chevrolet Corvette leather

I've owned this car for the last decade, now it just turned 50 years old. A rust free, numbers matching, southern gem with serious upgrades for the person that wants to have a vintage car that handles, rides and stops like a far newer Vette. While all the upgrades are reversible, driving this car proves I invested in exactly the right upgrades (about $10K last winter). On top of that, it all looks original (perhaps with the exception of the cloth top). For starters, I added Borgensen power steering. The car already had factory power steering which may have been the cat's meow 50 years ago, but doesn't cut it for a good feel in these mountains. I then rebuilt the entire front suspension and replaced the ancient mono leaf spring in the back with Van Steel Coil over shocks and their adjustable HD camber bars. I also replaced every brake component with a new master cylinder and Wilwood aluminum calipers. All this was changed over to synthetic brake fluid in the process. After a laser alignment, the car feels amazingly better than stock in handling, road feel and, of course, stopping. Leather interior and a rare telescopic steering. The transmission is still the original Powerglide, but I bought an upgraded Turbo 350 and new torque converter to finish off the mountain edition upgrades. (these are not yet installed, but go with the car). New battery. The engine is a numbers matching 327 with posi-traction -new fluids . The paint looks good from 10 feet, but that is probably the next improvement needed to make this car 100%. Don't get me wrong, it is not embarrassing, but fiberglass and paint don't do well together over time. I would also recommend putting a pretty set of Redline tires for the cherry on top. Clean NC title in my name.
