1978 Malibu Wagon Project Car

1978 Chevrolet Malibu Classic Estate Wagon

Project started but with too many going at once, I need to clear out for room.
78 Malibu wagon, ARIZONA - RUST FREE, Good Glass, Body in mostly very clean condition with a few small dents. The Car has a 350 Crate engine with an estimated 30-40k on it, with a TH350 Automatic transmission. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Factory A/C (not blowing cold-I'm guessing it needs a compressor, but had been converted to R134a). Has Tilt Wheel, roof rack has been removed but is still available, as are the original huge chrome factory bumpers.
When I bought it, I added the current wheels and brand new Hankook tires, although always planning to move up to a bigger tire and wheel set.
Car runs great, drives good, but the TH350 trans will occasionally skip second gear. I'm including with the car a Newly built (never run) Corvette 700R4 automatic transmission to go along with it as do a perfect 2nd Gen Camaro 4 spoke steering wheel and various interior plastics.
The Car needs all new door seals and headliner, but does have brand new carpet. It passes Arizona emissions and is licensed and road worthy. I've taken it on a 200 mile road trip to New Mexico and back without a problem. Car is basically solid. Extremely good bones as a builder and has pretty good eyeball, even before a build.
A/C blower motor and Heater controls all work as they should.
