Very Rare 1969 Chevy Nova, and it runs.
1969 Chevrolet Nova
I purchased this vehicle from a man who said his father had bought it new.
I was going to restore with my son, but it's looking like that's not going to happen, so now is your chance to own a very rare 1969 Nova.
This car came from the factory with the 4 cylinder 153 ci and three speed manual transmission and the famed 10 bolt rear end.
The interior seems fairly complete, but will need restoration.
The car has all 4 original wheels, tires hold air but, I am sure old and need replacing. All the glass is there although the windshield has what looks like a BB shot to it, it is not cracked around the BB hole.
This car does run and drive, but in not road ready. We installed new points, plugs, starter, battery and oil, and she fired right up, but will need work. All gears work, the clutch works, but there is a little noise, may be just the throwout bearing.
The brakes will need a little work, but will pump up.
The front pans need repairing and it'sfairly easy to do. I have the original set of keys, 1 ignition and 1 trunk.
The trunk has what appears to be surface rust and seems solid.
I have looked high and low for another 1969 Chevy Nova with this setup, all I can find are blogs talkingabout them, can't find another anywhere.
This is a great project car and will need work.
Please feel free to look her over or have someonecome on your behalf, and also feel free to ask any questions, I am happy to answer then if I can.
