BRIEF DESCRIPTION: 1 of 995 made in 86
this Camino was parked about 6 yrs until we got it..
This is an original Choo Choo Customs out of TN vehicle
Its a totally rust free car with 93k documented original miles.
The last owner was an older lady who had it for many yrs
but due to health reasons, had to quit driving it. While she had
it she kept it garaged and in great shape. For the last 3 or 4
yrs its been out in the AZ heat, so there is some sun and heat
damage to the paint and interior. NOT alot, but youll be able to
see most of it in the pics below. I believe the paint most if not all of
it to be original. No signs of previous repairs or bondo. Its a little
chalky, but think it would buff out nicely with a little work.
The fuel pump wasnt working, we installed a new one and still wouldnt
start, so for now I installed a E fuel pump as a temp fix to be able to
drive the car around some and make sure the drivetrain was okay.
So it starts, runs and drives great. After sitting for so long, it did smoke
when we first fired it up for several minutes, but it seems the more we
drive it, the better it gets and less smoke issues. Last time I drove it up
to the store it still smoked when it got warmed up, possibly some residual
in the cats still. I drive it a few miles everyday to see how things are going
with it. Trans is fine. I believe it to be a a matching #s car
( I can double check if need be) this is also a well loaded car too.
This is a really rare find and in great shape for its age.
Comes with a folder full of reciepts from the last owner.
TRANS was rebuilt less then 10k miles ago too.
Its been mostly we gather an original Az
CLEAN ARIZONA TITLE IN HAND
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
The last time it sold "their kid bid on it" ...that one
never gets old !apparently some peoplewho use ebay
arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
Wanna BUY IT NOW ? send a fair offer, Im listening
DRIVETRAIN: pretty sure its a matching #s 305 v8
car. Starts fine with the key, does the high idle till
warmed up and runs very well for sitting a few yrs.
Rebuilt trans with low miles on it and its had its share
of tune ups and oil changes etc. Carb may need some
cleaning from sitting, but so far so good. Gas tank seems
okay too, but dont think the gauge is working. Exhaust
is oem style replaced too a few yrs back. While running
the exhaust smells a little like older gas. We put fresh
gas in the tank, but not exactly sure how much is in there.
INTERIOR:check out the pics, being an AZ vehicle it
has some sun damage even with tinted windows.
Front bench seat in nice shape. Dash has some cracks too
but for the most part the interior is very presentable and
not bad for a daily driver or weekend cruiser. (SEE PICS) Windows and doors all work fine. Some fading to the
original GM plastic etc. Alpine CD player and speakers
work and sound great.
EXTERIOR:the body pretty straight for its age, and as mentioned
earlier, this could be all original or mostly all original Enamel factory
white paint. Which means, a little compounding it out would prob
do wonders to the finish. I still may do that this week before it ends.
Im curious to see how it turns out, but its already been over 100 here
during the day. Factory decals not in bad shape too. There is zero rot
on this cars body and rust free. The front ends they used on this
model/yr is really amazing and in great shape. Check out the bed too.
Other then some dust, its in great shape.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see ..
Looks stock and original, has been taken care of too.
Driving it around it feels solid, no weird noises and brakes feel
great. Only mild surface rust under there. Factory SS sway bars etc.
Tires looks to be in nice shape, but not sure how old they are.
I may have a receipt on them too. Handles great even with 14"
tires on it and the original Rally GM SS Steel wheels.
Minimal rust under the car, making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
There you go, probably The BEST represented C10s on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car
they are selling, what are they hiding ?
maybe their car is not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. We go all over and under
our vehicles, better then most sellers, to provide
great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
