1966 Chevrolet Impala

On November 4, 1966 a family friend and life long farmer went to Purifoy Chevrolet in Fort Lupton, Colorado to pick up his brand new 1966 Impala he had ordered for himself as a 28th birthday present, it was built the first week of June 1966. The car spent the next 50 years on his farm being used on occasion to enjoy but mostly was kept in the garage until I was fortunate enough to buy it. It will be extremely difficult to find a more original 66 Impala with this color and interior combination, rare options, low mileage, and overall condition, as this one. The car retains all of its original body panels with no rust anywhere and the ermine white paint has a nice shine to it, all body lines and gaps are original and perfectly aligned. The frame, floors, and trunk are all solid with no rust as well. The underside is rust-free and still has some factory undercoating on it. All of the glass is near perfect and all of the windows operate as they should. The interior is absolutely immaculate with its original aqua colored cloth and vinyl seats and carpet, with no tears or damage, including the dashboard, headliner, and all door panels. All of the gauges work as they should, even the radio and clock! The steering wheel is perfect with no cracks. All of the lights on the car work as well, and it still has all four of its original T3 headlights. The Chevrolet dealer installed air conditioning works, and even has a super rare, factory Chevrolet cruise control system. One turn of the key and the original 327 comes to life, runs super smooth and does not smoke whatsoever or leak any fluids at all.The car is incredible to drive, especially on the highway, it's as smooth as glass, and the power glide transmission shifts flawlessly. The car only has 46,970 original miles on it. All maintenance was just done on the Impala to make it a safe, daily driver, including all new belts, hoses, water pump, coil, complete tune up, brand new brakes, master cylinder, suspension parts, and all fluids. The car is mechanically sound and ready to drive anywhere, with no worries, and is presently driven daily. The Impala will be sold with the staggered 20" rear and 18" front American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels with Pirelli tires. The original 14" wheels/tires/and factory hubcaps will be included in the sale. If you prefer to buy the car with only the original wheels, please email me first.
The Impala gets a ton of attention wherever I go, it is truly a beautiful looking and driving car. The only reason I have to sell it is to finance the cost of some much needed repairs and upcoming event expenses for gas, tolls, etc on my 1969 military-themed Camaro that I've been using for the last 9 years to drive to events all over our country to promote 3 charities that support our wounded troops ( Disabled American Veterans, the Wounded Warrior Project, and The Fisher House) Please go to their websites to find out information and how you can help. Feel free to google Warrior Camaro as well, to see events and pictures of the Camaro.
You will not be disappointed with the Impala and I am sure it will bring you many years of enjoyment. Feel free to email me with any questions. Good luck bidding!
***Some of the pictures are making the chrome trim/moldings and even the dash chrome look distorted, unclear or even zebra-striped. I assure you, they aren't. (The telephone pole lines in some of the pictures are doing the same thing to the camera) I can resend all pics and others of specific areas like the underside, etc. directly to you to show a better, more clear image, if needed. eBay only allows 24 pictures.
