1979 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside

This 1979 Chevrolet C10 Stepside is far from stock, but you already knew that from the first impression. But beyond the glossy paint and shiny wheels is a comfortable A/C interior and a fresh stroker V8. So you really can have all you want for a value price. You're looking at a very custom pickup, and you can instantly tell there was a ton invested in this one. So while we have over $18k in receipts for this recent build,... all you really have to do to appreciate the hard work is see the modern gray paint's metallic element radiate in the sunshine. The stepside bed has a great flared fender appearance that really has helped start the vintage custom truck movement, and there's a good amount of time invested in making this whole pickup look exceptionally unique. You can see it up front with the mirror-like chrome bumper and a blacked-out version of the Chevrolet grille. Along the sides there's the smooth body with a crisp crease line that erases decades of going to work. In the rear there's more chrome on the bumper, but the real treat is the fresh lumber in the bed. After all, part of the stepside's appeal was that they still used real wood truck beds. It's all finished off with an aggressive stance thanks to those large 20-inch US Mags wheels on a lowered suspension. Inside is the right comfort you want from a truck like this. The gray cloth bench is quite comfortable, and the door panels still carry some of styled inserts that remind us of vintage premium C10s. These Chevy trucks were famous for a dash that wrapped around you, and so it's an easy reach to everything, including the factory air conditioning controls. And when you grab the updated Chevrolet steering wheel and spot the Sun Super Pro tach, it tells your senses to be ready for something special even before you twist the key and hear this one growl. When you open the hood, you'll instantly note how fresh the V8 looks. That's because it was installed only about 500 miles ago. More than just clean, this powerplant is mean. It's a 383 cubic-inch stroker motor that has been further enhanced with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, MSD ignition, and Hedman long tube headers that add even more power as they contribute to the rumble of the dual exhaust. And while this is a terrific upgrade in power, they didn't forget the details, too. That's why you'll see belts, wires, hoses, brackets, and plenty of other components upgraded, too. They even added a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission to be both stout enough for the extra power and provide overdrive comfort on the highway. And speaking of highway driving, the dual fuel tanks make this a great classic for the long haul. Add in plenty of fresh suspension components, power steering, front disc brakes, and the modern grip of Toyo Proxes tires, and this is a superior cruising pickup. This is a fully-built custom pickup that's easy to live with every day. Who knew standing out in all the best ways could be so affordable. Call today!!!
