Converted the car to a 4 speed, was originally a 350 auto. All parts were sourced from another El Camino back in Illinios, including the steering column so it would have the column shift mount on it. I still have the factory steering wheel as well. Hurst 4 speed shifter, and yes, I did install the back up light switch on the shifter so the back up lights work.
I've installed hood locks, have a German made steering wheel club (not the cheaper Taiwan made ones now), and a hidden battery kill with with laser cut key.
ALL NEW WIRING AND RELAYS. All new stainless brake and fuel lines. All new weatherstripping, suspension polyurethanerubber in front & rear suspension. Modified rear suspension with adjustable uppers, and hardened boxed lowers.
Interior: New Carpet, Headliner, sail panels, sun visors. Seat fully redone with new vinyl cover, springs, and burlap w/ foam filling. Seat tracks completely serviced rebuilt. E brake unit fully serviced and rebuilt by myself. Dash modified w/ gauges, and fully wired and rebuilt by myself.
Power Disc Fronts, Drum Rears. New Springs, New Shocks.
EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR WORKS PERFECTLY, and has been gone through and restored. :-) I personally have put about 4000 miles on the car, driving it, breaking it in. Fine tuning it to make it fun to drive, and user friendly.
There is the occasional chip, or scratch. I've buffed the car out, and put fresh wax on her. She is a driver.
If you want this car to really rip, put a 3.55 gear and a Holley 550 CFM on her, and she'll get crazy on you. The rest of the car is already setup to take it.
The quality of home she goes to is more important to me than just money... so please, intend on caring for the car, driving her, and protecting her.
I ALSO HAVE SPARE PARTS FOR THE CAR. The new owner can have them.
