1966 Chevrolet Corvette

Hey Son. You know that yellow super nice period custom street machine? That 1966 Corvette Coupe? The one owner, lifelongCalifornia Sting Ray that was the widow's first husbands? Well it's for been sitting in storage for the last couple of years sincethe widow died and the manager of the estate wants to sell it. I would love to buy this wonderful American icon and give it to youfor free. What do you think? "No Dad, I can't drive a stick and don't want to ever learn" But Son, Corvettes are some of the coolest cars ever built. "Does it have navigation?" No Son but Corvettes were one of the top sports cars in the 1960's and they were known around the world. "Does it have Bluetooth?" No Son. But classic Corvettes have a deep meaning in our American culture. "But Dad, I have an Uber app." Son, the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean and countless others have been totally inspired by Corvettes and have written songs about them. They don't now, or will ever, write songs about Prius's. "Hey Dad, I thoughtthat guy in California was looking for a Corvette?" Son, this is not the right car for the tighty-whitie guy in California. He wantsa matching numbers, matching tool kit, matching valve stems trailer queen that he can take to car shows and then spend all dayhighly critictizing every other Corvette there. "Hey Dad, just not really interested in cars in general but thanks" Ok Sone. Could you quit playing that video game and get off my computer now? I need to put the Corvette on Ebay for now to help the estate sellthe car.
1966 Corvette Coupe, one owner, 4sp. car. Original paint color was Sebring Silver. Miles show 98,852. New 350 genuine Chevroletnon-matching number motor with less than 1,000 miles on total rebuild. Engine was rebuilt by John Steenson in Oct. of 2006. Has power steering, AM FM radio and roll up windows.Does not have power brakes or A/C. The chassis was totally rebuilt by Ken Stone in 2007/2008. Suspension, brakes, electrics, lights radiator core, heater core. Virtually everything was doneexcept the interior which is original. There is a crack on the top of each side of the dash and one on the passenger door panel. The transmission and rear end where rebuilt by Bob Kemply. The car was painted in 1973(pearlescent yellow metallic) (orange inlay/stripes) by Dennis Reneiro. There were two coats of clear put on the car in 2008 by Art. All the plating was done by Valley Plating in 2008. In total there was around 30K spent on this work.There are two full binders with all receipts, photos and documents of repairs since car was new.The car is sold as-is where-is buyer is responsible for shipping costs.
