1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Please read carefully !!!
1971 Monte Carlo, recently purchased from the 3rd owner who had it for 17 years only put 1500 miles on it. It is a North Carolina car originally was sold to a gentleman in WV and then to IN. Car has not been in the snow or salt, I have the protect-o-plate and original owners manual, some receipts from over the years with the names of the former owners if you want to check the history of the car.
MOTORI believe to be the original 350, 4 bbl it is stock, runs good sounds good, no noises, does not smoke, dual exhaust with glass packs.350 turbo automatic transmission, does have a small leak looks to be the pan gasket.
BODYFront passenger side fender has a dent where the car hit a concrete pole backing into a pole barn where it was stored ( see picture ) it does have rust under the top at the rear window ( look at the pictures ) that is the only issues. the rest of the panels are rust free and straight, no bubbles on any other panels.Underside of the doors are clean, doors shut nice, straight car other than the dent.All the trim is there and in good condition.
INTERIOROriginal interior, very nice shape, no rips or holes, carpet shows a little wear, no dash cracks, door panels are clean. Headliner has a few very small holes but is nice overall.All glass in good, windows roll up and down nice.
UNDERSIDEVery nice, no rust in the floors or trunk, frame is solid, gas tank straps have no rust around where they hook in, no issues on the underside.
PAINTPaint is 30 years old, I would call it a 5 footer, it was originally gold from the factory, it is driver quality. Shines decent but has chips and small scratches, inside the door jams some of the red has chipped away and the gold is visible, same with the side of the hood when you lift it up. This is a driver !
OPTIONSA/C works but does not blow cold, everything is hooked up and complete, it is the old system has not been updated, disc brakes, tilt wheel, 12 bolt rear end but is not a posi. Old style 15 inch rally wheels all caps and trim rings are there in good condition. Tires are ok but will need to be replaced after the summer.
OVERALLThis is a nice driver Monte Carlo, it is all original, all the lights, gauges work, the key buzzer works as do the hood under light and trunk light. It needs a few things but overall is a very solid Monte. Paint is driver quality, bumpers are driver quality, great cruiser or your local cars and coffee get together.
