The chassis was redone with new body mounts, bushings and ball joints. New shocks and springs were installed. Early Classic trailing arms and crossmember were added. New front disc brakes, rear drums, emergency brake shoes, brake lines, master cylinder and brake booster are on the truck. The chassis was also painted during the restoration.... A custom gas tank was installed towards the rear of the frame under the truck bed. Custom 20 inch wheels modeled after the Chevrolet rally wheel are on all 4 corners.The no rust body was stripped and painted Corvette Torch red. The paint is show quality. A custom pop up gas filler was built into the bed side stake holder location.The bed itself had new wood and hardware installed. The rear bumper was removed and a rolled pan was fabricated. A new front chrome bumper and the desirable 1969 front grill were installed, The body is laser straight and all of the panel gaps are better than new. New weather stripping and window felts complete this show ready truck.The 350 small block was rebuilt and an Edelbrock 850 carb with an electric choke resides on top of the engine now. An electronic ignition was utilized as well. A new radiator keeps the engine running cool. Headers and a custom exhaust system give the truck a nice exhaust note. The turbo 400 automatic transmission shifts very smoothly.The interior is kept cool with a fully refurbished air conditioning system. The seat and door panels were reupholstered, a modern stereo with blue tooth is in the original radio's location.This is truly a truck that needs to be seen in person to appreciate the quality of the build this C10 received.
