If you are looking for a 3rd gen Camaro that is still in great shape and not completely trashed then this is your car. I purchased this car about 12 years ago and finally decided to put her up for sale to make room for another Exotic. Since the day it was purchased I have always had it garaged with a interior car cover over it. I start and let it run a few times a week and have NEVER had it not start up right away. I did have big plans to drop a ls3 with a 6 speed into the car, as well as rework all suspension, braking system etc but just didn't want to commit to $30,000 dollars in upgrades. I am not the track type, nor am I a gear head, I used the car for shows and local drives. The car has never been to the track, driven in the rain or any kind of inclement weather. I have only run royal purple oil in this car and always make sure I have kept up on the maintenance. The car shows extremely well with no alarming issues. I just took the pictures today before listing it here on eBay. Here is what I know about the car. :
Original interior is in great shape, NO cracks on the dash, NO saggy headliner, NO fading of any kind anywhere. The carpet is perfect it doesn't have a single stain or blemish of any kind at all. The hatch area is perfect no stains or blemishes of any kind. The car has half vinyl doors as pictured in the video which I have never really seen before, all plastic inside the car is still shiny with no signs of fading.
The backseats are virtually brand new. The drivers seat has a tear in the bolster closest to the door. The passenger seat is nearly perfect, it has a small 1 inch tear on the right seat. Overall the interior I would grade as a 8 out of 10.
Power options work, power windows, power door locks, power hatch etc ALL work flawlessly with no issues.
CD player with jl audio speakers have been put in the car for better sound as well.
Brand new Battery was just installed about 3 weeks ago.
35% ceramic window tint.
I have the original wheels and tires to the car as well, right now it has 18 inch Iroc Z wheels as pictured.
The only upgrades that I did to this car was the flow master exhaust system with headers. It makes the car sound very aggressive ! The a/c has also been removed from the car.
The exterior of the car I would rate at a 7-8 out of 10. It is SUPER shiny and has original paint. The front clip has a crack on the right side and appears to have been painted at some point. Other than that the car shows very well. I was going to have the car professionally repainted and restored. When I took it over for an estimate the gentleman strongly recommended that I keep it original and not paint it because it still showed that well. I have replaced the badges on the rear bumper with factory OEM replacements.
The exterior and underneath has virtually no rust and is in mint condition. All of the weather stripping on the car is still in good shape, the t tops do NOT leak either.
Although I decided to sell my camaro, I don't need the money so please refrain from thinking that I will give it away or accept a super low ball offer of any kind. I would like the car to go to a good home with someone who will enjoy it equally as much as I have over the years. I am also confident that the new owner of this car would be able to drive it home to anywhere in the country. Over the 12 years of owning this car I have never broke down or needed a tow back home ! She has always been super reliable !
