What I have done and verified to the best of my knowledge.
I ran a title search and verified it was a one owner however was transferred into another family members name before I had bought the vehicle. The engine stamp does match the VIN number. The Cylinder heads are the correct casting numbers and and look to be the originals as well as the intake manifold. The carburator however is not the original, it appears at one time it was replaced with a rebuilt Quadrajet and the old one was given as a core. The rear differential is a 12 Bolt but after running the numbers it does not appear to be a limited slip. The car is very well equipped with options but does have drum brakes on all four corners.
Car has very little rust but has some in the usual places. Around the rear window, wheel well lips. Solid floorboards and trunk pan.
Wiring harness needs to be replaced or repaired, the previous owner it seems anytime the vehicle had a bad relay or switch he would just install a toggle switch.
I installed new plugs and wires and got the vehicle running just so I could hear the motor which seems to run good without any knocking.
The Chevelle is a project car and will need to be towed away.
I do reserve the right to end the auction early. I am advertising it locally and am getting a lot of response.
