I Reserve the Right to End this Listing Early Call or Text… 706-831-1899 Up for auction is a rare (and true A-code 150) Chevrolet 2DR Sedan. This awesome car has spent its entire life in South Carolina. It had its original paint until it was frame-off restored in the original colors in 2008. This 57 has never been in a wreck and never been in a junkyard. It’s always been a running, driving, & titled car… The car was purchased new on 1-21-58 by D.B. Garner of Union SC for the price of $2,600. I have a copy of that original South Carolina title as well as the new and current SC title from 2006. I was told the car had 67,594 original miles when the previous owner bought the car in 2006 and it now has 8,310 miles on the new restoration and the rebuilt gauges. The previous owner restored the car and he is a retired paint & body guy. The paint is base/clear and it is buffed out and it comes with extra paint. The paint is not perfect but it is good and it is rust free for sure. The doors shut nice and easy/solid. If you are a car guy you know what easy/solid means and sounds like. As stated above the glass and rubber is all new, the bumpers are re-chromed, and the original bright work (what little there is on a 150) has been polished. It also has Gene Smith tail lights. The stance on the car is great with 2” drop spindles on the front and 1” blocks in the rear with new coil over shocks. The interior was restored custom two-tone gray, with new door panels, seats, headliner, carpet, trunk, the works. The wiring is all new and it is NOS. The gauges were rebuilt, and this is a heater delete factory car. The steering column is Flaming River tilt with new wheel and it comes with the original steering wheel in excellent condition that fits right on the same column. It also has brand new Danchuk Chevy Crest rubber mats in the car. (I just bought those) … The door handles and window cranks are NOS as well. It has an aftermarket gauge package under dash including USB charger. The original gauges work also. Raingear wiper system installed. The engine and bay area are very clean and neat with all wires and such neatly and securely ran. The fire wall is slick paint with the original fender tag still attached as you can see in the pictures. The Chevy 350 block is a rebuilt 1974 block with Z28 heads. It has an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold with Edelbrock 650cfm carburetor, performer cam, Mallory Unilite distributor, ceramic coated exhaust headers, aluminum radiator, and a new CPP 500 steering box with power steering, power disc brakes, and a March pulley system. It has a mechanical fan and an electric fan set on auto… she runs nice and cool. Underneath is frame off restored pans, frame, and everything including new exhaust system. This 57 Chevy rides, drives, handles, brakes, starts, runs, and looks great in every way. The oil change is fresh and all you need to do is turn the key and cruise. It is ready to go. This is a nice car and the new owners will be happy for sure. Cars like this one are getting hard to find so don’t miss this one. Bid early and often!
