Originally assembled on December 23, 1963, this 1964 Corvette Convertible has had a TON of custom body and engine work, and is in average condition. This car's paint is avg. Body features flared fenders, integrated front and rear spoilers, deleted chrome front bumper, polished cowls, custom fixed headlights with clear covers, rolled exhaust tips, and a 1965-66 big block style hood. Convertible top is avg, as are the rear bumpers, and weatherstripping for the convertible top. Door weatherstripping is vg, as are the taillights. Added vintage 15 inch Cragar wheels are avg, with vintage BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires sized 265/50/15 and showing 7/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1964 Corvette Convertible shows vg carpet, seatbelts, and center console, and good condition seats, steering wheel, and dash pad. Interior additions include White faced Autometer tachometer/boost/oil pressure/water temperature gauges, Black faced Stewart Warner speedometer/oil temperature/amp/fuel gauges, Mr. Gasket shifter, Red cloth instrument panel and glovebox delete, and a vintage Custom Auto Sound AM/FM/Cassette radio. The NOM 427ci engine in this car shows casting number 3904351, original casting date September 21, 1966, and final assembly date January 13, 1967. Stamp pad shows "IL" suffix, which together with the casting number, date, and assembly date designate this as a 390hp 427ci engine that would have originally been installed in a 1967 Corvette. Correct radiator hoses and clamps are in place. Additions to this engine include a Red oil pan, Red/polished flex fan, chrome air cleaner, polished Holley carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock valve covers, Edelbock breather, aluminum water pump, Red spark plug wires, Mallory distributor and ignition coil, Hooker longtube headers, chrome alternator, and a chrome water outlet. Frame has been painted Red, and suspension has been painted White. Records dating back to 1997 are included. Please note that this car is below the quality that we typically carry, but it is priced accordingly. Nonetheless, this car runs and drives with no major issues.
