Why are we so excited about this 1925 Chevrolet Roadster light duty pickup... It may be the only, original, in great condition known to be drivable... not a rust bucket in a field!
We last heard of this truck at the 1st Pinehurst Concours d'elegance back in 2014! The top judge at the event is world renowned. He told us about the CHEVY...that's right CHEVY.. at the show and he had never seen on before in such great original condition. The Internet is useless as there is only a mention the chevy made these. The original family had it on a maple farm in Vermont and only used it in the summer as horses were used in the winter due to the heavy snow. No salt was used back then on the dirt roads..thus very little sign of rust. Actually no rust. (only on the passenger side fender top by the running board has been patched.) WHAT a barn fine. The judge took a great look at the wood bed and decided it was a added where the truck was made or picked up as the construction with wooden dowels and other craftsman building... either a coffin maker or cabinet maker, did the work.

Its current owner purchased it from the finder back in 2001. All was running great when he acquired it. and had the Motor, Trans, Brakes, ... professionally rebuilt including the special shocks on all 4 sides. HE wanted to be able to drive the route of the 1st car photographed in Raleigh, NC that made it was from Baltimore MD. The trip was never made and tris truck mainly sat. NOW here she is at the shop... a quick preparation for restart... and its running and driving just fine!
