1962 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210
1962 Chevrolet Bel AirBubble top 409 5spd. Tastefully modified for better performance and drivability. Original v8 car now has 1964 409 motor( built by Reggie Jackson's shop ) Factory 2x4 intake with Edelbrock carburetors, electronic distributor, headers with duel exhaust. Engine runs strong and sounds great. Backing up the 409 is a Richmond 5spd with factory looking shifter and location. Drive shaft upgraded with modern support bearing ( Inland Empire) Rear-end is a factory "P" case posi traction with 3.36 gears. with adjustable panhard bar and swaybar. Font suspension rebuilt and upgraded with 605 power steering box and bigger sway bar. car has ben lowered all around, sits nice.
Beautiful white paint ( San Bruno auto body) is accented with restored/replaced trim and chrome pieces, no dings or scratches. Nice even panel gaps all around the car. Quarter panels have ben replaced at one time. Torque thrust wheels round out the exterior.
Theowner/builder preferred the look and color of the Impala interior over the original blue, so a localupholstery shop did a complete interior restoration, to the new black interior ( really clean and well done).The periodcorrect SUN tachometer was rebuilt with new modernelectronics, as well as the radio updated.
This car was built and owned by a True Car Guy. Tons of money and timewas spent ( receipts available)on restoring and modifying to make a great, really clean, solid driving car. drawscompliments where ever parked.
