1972 Chevrolet Nova

NO RESERVE!This is my 1972 chevy nova, I have owned it for over 5 years. Power disc brakes, power steerin, 5 speed, WORKING A/C! In the time I have owned it, Much work has been put into it, here are some of the highlights: Viper red paint with clear coat, white stripes added. Side marker lights shaved, custom spoiler on rear. New windshield, new door and trunk locks, new door seals, trunk seal, new door panels, carpet, dash pad, headliner, rear seat cover, custom front buckets seats, new headlight surrounds, new header panel. new bumper.
Engine was rebuilt less than 100 miles ago! 1968 327 small block, bored.030 over, flat top pistons, performance cam, vortec heads from late1990's 350 small block, (the best flowing iron heads that gm ever produced.) custom springs and up-locks to accommodate the lift of the cam. air gap intake manifold with an Edlebrock 600cfm electric choke carburetor, new air filter and housing, New HEI distributor with high energy plug wires, new water pump, Shorty headers, aluminum flex fa, new exhaust, new high torque mini starter, performance mufflers . Estimated 350-400 horsepower, This engine sounds like a beast!Trans is a later model, aluminum 5 speed overdrive, hydraulic clutch, really easy to operate compared to the old z-bar set up! Trans uses an electric sender for speedo, car still has cable operated speedo, never got around to addressing that!Rear end is a GM 10 bolt with a brand new posi-track installed, rear gears are in the neighborhood of 3.25 if memory serves. Rear also has new wheel cylinders, soft line, and drums.Gas tank was replaced with a new one, along with a new sender and fuel lines.
Front sub-frame was remove/cleaned/painted and re-installed, Front has drilled/slotted rotors and new calipers/pads. New dual diaphragm brake booster and master cylinder. Front was lowered about 2 inches, Remanufactured power steering box, new tie rod ends ball joints, sway bar links, shocks etc. alignment was done at this time. The steering is as tight as it probably was when new. The wheels are 15 inch vintage chrome American racing, tires have very little wear. The car has a new, aftermarket A/C system, uses r134a, not Freon, it blows nice and cold! This was built as a fun "driver", not a show car, it has some flaws, the paint is not perfect. People stored boxes and miscellaneous stuff in it, so there are some minor scratches, minor chips/and imperfections etc. in the paint.Classic cars like this are never "done" in my opinion. I tinkered with it when I had free time, and I'm sure there is more to do, it is almost 50 years old, so don't expect a new Toyota!I have driven this car to the inspection station and back for the past 3 years, this is the only time I have driven it, other than in/out of the garage and around the block once in a while to keep it in working order, So it still has less than 100 miles on it since being put back together. It's time for someone else to actually DRIVE this instead of just sitting! Clean Tx title in hand.Bid only what you can and will pay for the car, only bid if you are serious. You are bidding to OWN the car, not the right of first refusal! The $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable. You are welcome to ask questions or set up an appointment to come and see the car and I will do my best to accommodate you. Thanks for looking!
