Ok, I am a female and will do my best to tell you everything I know about this vehicle which has been in my possession only a week. I was left this car by a tenant who owed me a fair amount of money. I personally only drove the car around the block once. It killed my back getting in and out of that car it is so low and dont recommend if you have back issues. My friend drove it home and was a 2 hour drive. He said car didn't get hot, ran strong, no misses, no hesitation, nothing leaking as far as he could tell. I did my best to check everything to see if it works or not. I do not know anything mechanical, nothing. As far as I can tell you, this is what doesn't work on car or needs repair. The right head light does not pop up. The lights on radio turn on but radio doesn't work. The antenna stays in down position. The passenger side mirror has crack. Emblem on rear of car that says "corvette" is missing. The lock on drivers door sticks a little and had to slide it over a tiny bit manually with my finger. Paint is chipping and dull.I will give VIN # at close if you wish to run a check however I ran a VIN check and this is exactly what it said: NO agriculture vehicle, antique, bond posted, classic, crushed, collision, cash for clunkers, dismantled, disclosed damage, flood damage, formal rental, gray market or NO junk.NO lemon, manufacturer buy-back, OD does not exceed mechanical limits, OD discrepancy, OD alteration, OD replacement, and NO other OD problems exists.No prior non-repairable/repaired, police vehicle, refurbished, rebuilt, reconstructed, remanufactured, recovered theft, reissued VIN, test vehicle, vehicle safety defect, vehicle non conformity, vandalism or NO warranty return.The body of the car doesn't appear to have even the tiniest ding in it, but like I said paint is chipping and is dull. All the lights work on car, including the little light in center console. The right head light that doesn't pop up the light comes on but wont flip around.All the instruments light up and work properly. ER brake works properly, power drivers seat adjusts, power windows go up and down. Button to open hatch works fine. I think the top comes off but didn't try to remove it. I couldn't believe the A/C blew ice cold air. Didn't try adjusting mirrors as I couldn't find button. No rips or tears in carpet or seats. It appears car lived in Nevada from 84-86 and has resided in California ever since. From what I can tell, I am 3rd owner by a week. I have title in hand. My tenant told me the car had been sitting awhile prior to he owning it 2 years. There is repair receipts with car. Last one I see dated 2014 with 26690 miles on it. so in 4 years its been driven 2000 miles. My tenant said he did no repairs except have oil changed a few times in the 2 years he owned it. I have title in hand but not in my name yet. It takes a very long time to get DMV appt. My apt isn't until 4/11/18. I don't know if I need to put in my name or not but I do have apt to transfer title if necessary. VIN# 1G1AY0786E5113348.
