My dad found this car in Marysville (A California Car!) in the 80's, bought it and then and restored it because it was like the one he drove when he was young. He took it down to the bones and did a complete rebuild, but he didn't want to paint it the original green so he chose yellow to make it stand out. The odometer shows 1,314 but the actual mileage is unknown.
It passed on to me when he died in 1991 and has been on my property stored in a garage since then. I have started it regularly and driven it a few times on the private road that leads to our house.
He didn't restore the soft top, but it has all the parts. It also has an extra engine block in the trunk that he also rebuilt. It has steel wheels - a desirable option instead of the wooden spoken ones that were more common then.
