You are looking at a 1968 Impala Convertible with the original drivetrain. This car was owned by the original family until the fall of 2017. This car was parked and the engine was disassembled for a rebuild and nothing ever happened. I have all of the original engine components of the numbers matching DR coded 307/200 horsepower engine. The short block is still in the car and still turns over with the key. It has some rust in the trunk but the floors are actually pretty nice. It comes with the spare and jack and the power top still goes up and down really nice with the switch. The canvas on the top has been removed but the frame is in nice condition.
This car was bought New right here in Saint Joseph, Missouri and has always been a local car.
It is a factory Ash Gold car with matching interior and originally had a black top. It came with power steering and a power top but that was about it as far as options go. It has been repainted the original color at some point and it does have filler in both quarters. The drivers side fender has a dent in it but the grill and bumpers are really nice.
This is a chance to get a pretty much unscrewed with Impala Convertible for not much money. It wouldn't take much to have the original 307 going again or put in any kind of power plant you like.
