This 1976 Chevrolet C20 Scottsdale pickup was purchased new and passed down to the original owner's son.It was made in Fremont CA and has spent it's whole life here in Southern California. The engine is a factory original 350 cid 4 barrel carb V8that was rebuilt two years ago at a shop in San Jacinto CA. Its got a new radiator, New brakes, New fuel pump, new smog pump, new water pump, New belts, Hoses, New high output distributor, New rear bearing seal. Recently got new wheels and tires. This truck starts right up and runs fantastic, check out the videos I've linked to in the ad and you can see for yourself. I do a driving test, a stop-break-and-reverse test, and film the motor running. On to the body, starting from the outside theoriginal paint is still in great shape as you can see in the pictures, I was told by the previous owner that the matching toolbox is original to the truck. The bumpers are original and in great shape. Factory tow package. There's a pretty common small round rust spot in the bottom of the passenger door and some surface rust on the bed, But other than that this truck is 100% rust free and very solid. The body is straight it was never in an accident. Has all its original metal Was never modified or torched in anyway. The interior is in good condition, it'sa factory A/C and AM FM radio truck. The a/c does need the condenser though.The bench seat is original, it has a rip in the leather which is common due to its age. The floor mat and dash are in good shape. Door panels are in good shape. Gauge cluster is in good shape, The speedometer works but the other gauges work when they want to.Its got great power stearing, It was originally a 4 speed manual and was converted very early on in its life into an automatic. All the lights work, Such as the head lights, Brake lights, Turn signals etc all work. The truck shifts great, no grinding or anything in that nature. The brakes are great theres no shaking or hesitation. The tires are in great shape. No broken glass. All the windows go up and down. Doors are very solid with no sagging. I could sit here and talk about this truck all day, But all in all this C20 is a great piece of american history. Its not a trailer queen, It does have nicks scratches and some wear that is common for to its age.
