Super hard to find short wide bed big back glass

1959 Chevrolet Other Pickups big window cab

Up for your bidding pleasure is this RARE and now Quite sought after 1959 BIG BACK WINDOW SHORT FLEET SIDE. That was a factory V-8 truck. It is now rolle, as I bought it for the 283 V-8 that had been put in it decades ago. I was it had a 1961 corvette motor and 3 speed synchronized transmission, which it did a 2X4 solid lifter motor. ( I buy and sell Corvettes) I had a need for that set up. I was told the truck ran when it was parked years ago, but needed a new clutch set up and that turned out to be true. Got it running in less than a 1/2 hrs time. so removed the motor/trans. So now we have a nice KOOL roller !!! The master cylinder and some of the brake shoes removed as to free it up so it could be pushed around by hand. ROLLS easy steers nicely and tires hold air. The windows crank the doors and hood latch. The hear say is that something feel on the drivers side of the cab many decades ago, ( barn, tree limb, meteor, cow, a flying pig) I don't know for sure. But from the looks of the cab 2 HILLBILLIES and a REDNECK along with 3 cases of beer and a weekend with hammers/torch in hand hammered out the cap to make serviceable again replaced the back glass but not the front " has a a few cracks" and continued driving it for years. Now i have a extra cab top if the winning bidder wants it to replace top, or just fix the original properly, our drive as it is your choice.The key locks the doors, glove box and turns ignition.cracks in windshield, driver door glass. There is little to no rust on the outer sheet metal,relatively speaking. I did remove the seat and new rubber floor mat so you can see just how solid the floors are, under the seat no rust through, and on floor pans I marked in red crayon son you can see the very few mall spots (see pics).Doors, steps, fenders, bedsides,tailgate almost rust free!! The truck has GREAT PATINA with faded paint and shine but it is NOT CLEAR COATED.The interior is nice and original UNCUT and very serviceable.Has original hub caps with about 90 % of the original bed wood in it, see pics of under side. This truck was probably painted 30 years ago,and is a original ORANGE pickup.Clean title, ready to LS, hotrod, restore, ratrod shop truck!
