1965 Chevrolet Malibu --

Introduced in 1964 on the compact A-body, the Chevrolet Chevelle was one of GM's best selling models. Available with a range of engines from mild sixes to big block V8s and offered in coupe, convertible, sedan, and wagon body styles, there was a Chevelle for everyone. More compact and simple than GM's other full size models, the Chevelle was an instant hit and competed will with other similar models such as the Rambler and Falcon. GR Auto Gallery is happy... to bring this very nice and honest 1965 to your attention. Having been owned by the same family for the last 20 years, this car was very well cared for and was a true part of the family. This car is equipped with the popular Malibu package as well. Finished in Mist Blue, the exterior of this car is very solid, but not concourse by any means. The paint is even overall but has lost a lot of shine. The body is generally very straight and clean. Chrome trim is excellent and fully intact and has good shine. The white convertible top appears to have been replaced at some point, as it is taunt and has no fading or discoloration. The plastic rear window is likewise quite nice. 15in steel wheels are mounted. The two tone blue interior is very nice, with comfortable bench seats that have good padding and no rips or stains. Carpet, dash, and door cards are nice as well and the dash features a central tach as well as a SunPro auxiliary gauge pack. Everything is very nice and very simple. Fitted with the 327cid V8 and an automatic transmission means that this example is well endowed with it comes to acceleration. The engine is a very smooth runner and the car loves to cruise. The power steering also means that driving it is a relatively easy affair. While not the prettiest girl at the ball, this 'Bu is still a looker in will continue to be a long term driver.
