RESTORATION PROJECT Selling a 1955 Chevy 4dr restoration project. Car will need a total restoration but does run and drive. Original 235 6 Cylinder with 82,000 miles and 3 speed manual trans with floor shift. Car starts, runs, shifts, and stops as it should. Good clutch and brakes. Very solid car for its age. This car was undercoated when new and as a result has no rust on the frame, floors, or trunk. Very solid overall. No sheet metal to replace or repair. The exterior will need body work and paint. There is no signs of any rust on the body, but I do not know what is beneath the paint. The bumpers have surface rust and will need to be rechromed. The interior has 2nd generation camaro bucket seats and a 2nd gen camaro console. The rear seat is the factory seat but was recovered by an amateur and the door panels were covered in the same material. Also done by an amateur. The headliner is original as well as the rubber floor mat. The dash is original and nice. All gauges work. All lights work as they should. Trunk has original rubber mat and original spare tire. Many new parts replaced including new battery, voltage regulator, new spark plugs, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, exhaust system, tail light lenses, and 4 new tires never been on the road yet. The missing stainless trim comes with the car shown in pics. Car has clear NJ title in my name. Buy it now $5000 or best offer.
