This big block 396, 4-speed, real deal code 138 car is beautiful and full of muscle at the same time. The Bolero Red paint is a bonus on this one as it is stunning to look at. The undercarriage is another great thing about this ride as it is very, very clean for a car of its years. This one is definitely a Chevelle lovers car. Below you will find the specs' of this classic to prove our point. One of the nicest we have seen in a while.BODYRust free southern car with all original floors, body mounts, trunk and rear quarters. Exceptional Bolero Red paint on an arrow straight body with great fit and finish. All of the chrome, stainless trim, emblems and bumpers were replace when restored as well as all the weather stripping. INTERIORThe factory black bucket seat interior compartment has been completely restored to as new condition including new seat covers and foam, new carpet, new door panels, new headliner, new in-dash factory gauges and all of the chrome on the dash has been replaced as well. The factory console has been restored and has a working factory clock. It has an am/fm cassette stereo with dual rear speakers and an Auto Meter Tach mounted on the new Ididit, tilt steering column.ENGINEThe engine is a 1966, 396 cubic inch, big block Chevy (suffix IV, casting 3855961) with a Holley 750 vacuum secondary carb, fresh oil on 218, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum hi-rise intake manifold, Crane hydraulic performance cam, HEI electronic ignition system, factory style chrome valve covers, 14" open air cleaner with K&N filter and stock exhaust manifolds with dual Flowmaster Mufflers. To keep it cool it has a 4-core radiator and a fan shroud. TRANSMISSIONThe transmission is a Muncie 4-speed with a new Hurst Competition Plus shifter, blowproof bell housing and heavy duty clutch. REAR ENDThe factory 12-bolt rear end has been completely rebuilt with new axles, 3.55 gears and a posi-traction unit.SUSPENSIONThe suspension has been all rebuilt to factory spec's front and rear including all bushings, ball joints, etc. It has factory power steering as well. BRAKESThe car has factory Power drum brakes that have been completely rebuilt and restored front to back and stops like it should.The Z rated tires, Hercules Raptis are wrapped around brand new Ridler 5 spoke chrome wheels.
