1972 Corvette retro resto mod. Originally an LS5 454 car with only 65000 original miles. T-Tops pop out rear window L88 Hood tilt wheel power windows power steering leather interior. Same owner last 40 years who did what they did in the 70's customizing era. This is an X show car done up years ago and still in very nice shape with amazing original Black leather interior. The door panels carpet everything is very nice and the dash is super nice all gauges are clear as a crystal and all work even the clock. Body is very nice and straight seams and gaps are also nice and doors close with ease no sag. Obviously the front end was redone for the retro style front clip but was done very nicely and gives it the open eye headlight look. Car has always been garaged and paint was done years ago but still looks nice not cracked up or anything. Has a few minor imperfections but overall I would say its a 7 to 7.5 easily for its age and shows well. Has that 70's look with the flames and Hooker Side Pipes that sound killer with that lumpy cam. Engine is a 1973 date code 454 built for pump gas with over 400HP (NON MATCHING) and all professionally built built with the best parts $ can buy including Comp Cams Manley Edelbrock Holley MSD Ignition and much more over $6000 in motor alone. Original LS5 motor that would of came in this car only had a lazy 270hp. Very nice driver no rattles or squeeks and car will flat out haul the mail. Very nice overall condition frame and underside are very nice no frame rust issues car has always been garaged and dry and it shows. Brakes were done recently and car has only been driven less than 20,000 miles in the last 25 years. Motor and trans are fresh both have less than 5000 miles. Another nice feature is a nice big aluminum radiator and 2 automatic electric fans to keep it cool on those hot summer days. This is a flashback to the 70's era Corvette Summer movie days when people customized their Corvettes and conversion vans and man there was some wild stuff that came out of that era. I can't think of anything the car needs off the top of my head I had it out the other day and went for a drive car ran great I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere.
