Runs, Drives, and Stops Well
Up for sale is my 1985 Chevy Camaro Iroc-z. The car is in good condition and they are becoming hard to find in this shape. The car was shipped from Idaho a few years back and has been mostly in storage since. I have put a few hundred miles on at the most in the last five years. The car is fun to drive and looks great.
The paint appears original and shows well for being 30 years old but as with most 80's GM products most of the clear has worn off over the years. There is some paint flaking on the passenger quarter sill. The car does have a few scratches and a few dings, no major dents. The worst blemishbeing a quarter sized ding on the passenger fender lip. The doors have door dings.
The car has a hooker catbackexhaust. Other than the exhaust the car appears complete and original. All emissions and AC lines are still in place.I have never tried to use the AC. It has power windows and power seat which both work. The power locks currently only click and do not lock/unlock.
There are no leaks from the T-Tops. Both under the hood and inside the car are clean. Is it 30 years old but still in good shape, turn the key and drive.
New BF Goodrich Sport Comp II, 245/50r16, maybe 100 miles on these tires
New rear calipers
New battery
I have more pictures in a google drive i can send.
Known Issues:
The car will need some tlc as I have not put many miles on it in the last few years.
·The EFE valve rattles and needs addressed. (on the passenger manifold)
·Clutch releases high but shifts well
·If the radio knob is wiggled the rear speakers cut in and out
·Power seat switch works but the very center is broken
·Paint looks good but it starting to show its age
·Minor Body dings and scratches.
The car is located in Rockaway, NJ.
Serious bidders only please, a$500.00 Deposit, non-refundable is required at auction close and full remaining payment is due within 7 business days. Pickup is up to the buyer but I'd like to have it gone within 7 days of auction end. If you win, you buy as is. I have described it as well as I can, as I said, it's not perfect, it is used, but a good example of a 30 year old original IROC Z28.

I have had a couple questions on the AC. I went to test if the compressor would turn on if I turned the AC on and found no belt running to the AC compressor. The car has a multi belt system. I bought the belt but will not be able to install. Please assume the AC does not work. I have put very few miles on the car in the last 6 years and the T-tops have always worked as AC.
