Up for auction is TOWM8TR, my 1953 Chevy 3100 pick up. This truck is farm fresh right out of fence row. All the patina you could ever want in a truck like this. The body has a flat clear coat on it to protect the fence row finish. This truck has a freshened up 355 V8 with a nice mild cam paired up to a brand new crate 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. Truck is sitting on a Chevy S10 long bed frame. Options included are power steering, power front disc and rear drum brakes, tilt wheel, vintage heat, all new wiring with modern fuses, wipers that wok great, all lights and turn signals work great, all new glass including new seals have been installed. Truck is sitting on 20 inch rear and 17 inch front Riddler wheels with new tires. Everything mechanical on this truck is new or has been reconditioned. Lots of $$$$$ has been spent on this project with only about 600 miles driven since completion. Truck runs very strong and drives at 80 mph down the highway with ease. This thing gets a lot of attention going down the road and tons of picture takers. This truck has dents dings and plenty of patina which looks really cool, if your not into patina, dents, dings and other characteristics of a 65!year old truck then this is not for you.
