86 chevrolet s-10 blazer

1986 Chevrolet Blazer

This s10 blazer is currently registered in washington state but has lived in california for the last 3 years. I've never tried to change where it's registered but i suspect it would have trouble passing smog. It idles higher than it should. It starts everytime no problem. Runs good. Overheats when not moving in drive, but doesn't overheat in neutral or park. Transmission was rebuilt by aamco 3 years ago but ever since then, i havent gotten four wheel drive to work, but i suspect it to be a problem with the gear selecter as you physically can't move the selector out of 2 wheel drive. I bought this vehicle from my father after it had been sitting for 7 years without being started even once. I then drove it down to california from washington state. It was a daily driver for about a year and a half and has now been just sitting there for the last 6 month or so. It has power windows. But the power locks don't work properly. I wish i had the time or money to work on this thing and fix all it's problems, but unfortunately i have neither. So here's to hoping some will give it a better home and give it the tlc it deserves.
