I have plenty of photos but there not wanting to take to this E bay I will try adding more photos afterwards.I started buy purchasing a 1972 K20 that spent almost its entire life parked in a fire dep, truck had 16K original miles and then a tree landed on the cab one day.I spent forever looking for a body that was good enough to use to bring it back,found a 1970 c10 Big block truck with factory air in California and had it shipped to me for a donor vehicle,it is ROCK solid rust free and all original paint other than the pass bedside that had some damage repaired and that's the only area on this truck that was ever repainted,so what your looking at is still the original paint other than the one bedside.When the body was off I prepped and coated the underside of the body with that era primer color look.The fire dept truck I disassemble, did the frame with Dupont Zinc primer and Black Imron,regasketed the engine,replaced the timing chain with a double rollor because it still had the original GM plastic gear type that were known to fail,had doug Thorley headers sent out and jet hot coated them,new dual exhaust,all new stainless fuel and brake lines,calipers,rear wheel cylinders,raybestos brakes,skyjacker 2 inch lift with skyjacker shocks,petronix classic style distributor,factory carb was rebuilt,air cleaner and a bunch of misc parts were powder coated,has nice aluminum wheels but the truck does need some tires because of there age,I like the size that's on it but 33x12.50 would fit just fine too but would need a ladder to get in it!!IIt has extremely well built custom bumpers that were refinished with Imron,interior is nice,steering wheel is weathered and plastic cracked,everything is there unmolested as far as the air conditioning goes minus the compressor and brackets on the engine because the 16K drivetrain didn't have A/C .NOS motor mounts,Grille Shell and headlamp bezels,stainless E brake cables,Disc front drum rear and POSITRACTION factor, nice WARN frt locking hubs,TIGHT front end,tranny was serviced its strong as can be,Fire dept had a monsterous winch on it that I decided not to put it back on,it was 70's era.Power booster was sent out and was rebuilt and refinished for the original cadium coating look.Made in USA overkill radiator,I guess I could go on forever any questions feel free to ask I have ALOT of photos that I can E mail to whoever is interested.Shipping is buyers responsibility but I'm easy to work with truck is in a safe place and can stay here for awhile as long as its paid in full,It was appraised in 2011 @26K I am getting it reappraised this week I am going to let it go for way less than I have invested so someone is going to get a deal,this truck is still a baby with ALONG life ahead of it,everything I have done to it was with longevity kept in mind.I have the Cali title from when I bought it buyer will get that and a bill of sale and my currant registration.Any questions just ask.All of the gauges work,lights as they should,ect ect.I had a licensed appraiser come to keep my insurance company happy and the reselts are shown in one photo.The line "some minor surface rust shows thru" he is referring to inside of the bed this truck is rust free and has never had any rust repairs done to it whatsoever.
