1962 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

Selling my '62 Chevy bubbletop that is in the final stages of a frame off restoration.All of thebody parts werestripped down to the metal including the underside of the body. The underside of the body was HEAVILY covered in undercoating which preserved the pans and rockers. There was NO floor pan or rocker panel work needed. Only a small amount of rust needed repairing at the usual lower rear area of the fenders, as well as minor rust repair above and behindthe wheel well openings. Body work has been finished, parts have been fitted/gapped along with initial blocking. Should only require a minimum amount of final prep work before paint. ( I don't have a lift so I'm unable to get good photos under the car).

PAINT...The underside of the Body is painted with Hot Rod Black...The Firewall, Inside of the Front Fenders, Radiator Support, Radiator Support Tie Bar, Valance Panel, Underside of Hood and Trunk have been painted in GM636R Silver Ice Basecoat/Clearcoat.

CHASSIS---Commercially stripped and powder coated Chassis Black. NEW coil springs, shocks, ball joints, bushings, seals, etc.. NEW power front disc brakes with 2" dropped spindles, rear brake drums, shoes and wheel cylinders. NEW Borgeson power steering box. NEW Rock Valley modified Gas Tank with NEW sending unit and NEWin tank Fuel Pump for EFI... Rear end is a 3:55 POSI Unit.

GLASS---NEW 8 piece glass set... (windshield &rear glass with new gaskets, quarter windows, door glass & vent glass). NEW quarter window Upper Frames...LOWER quarter Window Frames have beenRECHROMED. NEW upper and lower door glass frames andvent glass frames.Vent glass regulator frame/housing has also been RECHROMED.

BUMPERS---New Front & Rear Carolina Smoothie one piece Bumpers with bolt kits. NEW front bumper Support Bar. All brackets/braces have been refinished/painted.

BODY & TRIM---NEW Hood, NEWHinges and Springs... NEW Hood Lip Moulding, NEW bowtie Hood Bezel Assembly... NEW complete Grille Assembly (grille, upper bar and grille teeth), grille mounting brackets (3) have been refinished/painted... NEW Headlight Bezels (headlight housings have been refinished/painted)...NEW Inner Fenders...NEW Valance Panel...NEW Upper Trunk Moulding...NEW Trunk Cove Mouldings (hockey sticks)...NEW Trunk bowtie Bezel Assembly..NEW quarter panelBELAIR Side Emblems..NEW C-H-E-V-R-O-L-E-T trunk Script Emblem. POLISHING...All Exterior Stainless and Aluminum Mouldings have been professionally refinished/POLISHED...Taillight Housings have been SHOW POLISHED. Headliner mouldings need to be painted or polished.

LOCKS, HANDLES & CRANKS---NEW matching key/s 5 pc. Lock Set (Ignition, Glove box, Doors and Trunk)...NEW Trunk Latch...NEW Inside & Outside Door Handles...New Window Cranks.

DASH---Painted in GM9260 Red Basecoat/Clearcoat cut and buffed. New Dakota Digital gauge kit...NEW Headlight and Windshield Wiper Switches...NEW Switch Bezels...NEWHeater Control Knobs...NEW Heater Fan Switch...New Glove Box Liner... Belair Dash Emblem has beenRECHROMED.

STEERING COLUMN---Painted, cut and buffed...NEW Turn Signal Lever...New Shift Lever...New Shift Indicator Housing...Belair steering wheel Horn Ring/Horn Button have been RECHROMED. Original steering wheel needs to be refurbished.

The car and parts are as I have described. Basically needs Engine and Tranny, Radiator, Exterior/Jams Painted, Interior, Wiring and Wheels/Tires. I also have the Front and Rear Seats (Bench)
